I am so excited you decided to join me!
I am Krystal , and I am here to laugh with you, cry with you, lean on Jesus and perhaps throw in a twist of my dry humor and witty sarcasm.
I started this blog because I am passionate and excited about encouraging moms to intentionally build their families one rhythm, one memory one extraordinary ordinary day at a time. Happy childhoods don’t just happen. Behind every close knit grown family, there was a mother that put in the leg work to goal backward, making the building up of her home and family her passion and purpose. I am here to build my toolbox with you and shape our mothering with great conversations, good books, fun traditions and building each other up even when we feel like we are breaking down. Will you Join me?
As moms, we have so many different stages and so many different sides, I was trying to narrow down a picture to share with you but couldn’t jut pick one that felt like “me” because frankly, I can be multiple people in a day.
The” selfie with filter Instagram Krystal ”
The ” I put on makeup so I don’t look like a slob on a Monday walk Krystal”
And then the “Um, yeah sure come in, I didn’t know you were coming, please forgive the peanut butter stain on my shirt and the messy hair picture.” Otherwise known as me by 12 o’clock most days.

This is me and my hubby, Andy. Andy and I are a bunch of stone cold weirdos, we never intended to be , but it just happened. We bought a house at 19( fixed it up and moved in on our wedding night) , married at 20 and 21, live on one income, have a brood of 4 kids, and we homeschool. Like I said, weirdos. But, We are super fun weirdos.
Andy and I have been friends since middle school. What can I say, all my childhood memories and adult memories are with him. He’s super awesome, and I honestly love being with him all the time. He is the balance of extrovert to my introvert and probably the only reason I bother to leave the house or talk to people.
When I think of my love for Andy, I always think of an older country song called ” Johhny and June” by Heidi Newfield.
And when we’re gone
There’ll be no tears to cry
Only memories of our lives
They’ll remember, remember
A love like that
– Johnny and June by Heidi Newfield
This is the awesome that Andy and I created, otherwise known as Gabby, Cole, Scarlett and Luke. They each have their own unique personalities and gifts and I am super excited to weave their own stories into Memory Making Mommy. Make note: they look totally socialized, right?
